Imperium Markets, a financial technology company involved in a government pilot project in Australia, has reported to Golden Finance that Australia needs to digitize its debt market in order to attract foreign investment and increase global competitiveness, thus modernizing the industry. Stu Burns, CEO of the company, stated that the project will commence in June, starting with negotiable certificates of deposit from major banks before expanding into a wider range of such securities and commercial paper markets.
